->FAIRFIELD -- On March 1, 2006, her spirit was called home. She had a love for life and survived beyond all earthly expectations. She put up a good fight always claiming she was fine but passed away on Ash Wednesday in the arms of her children.She was born in Benton on Sept. 10, 1932, the daughter of Leon and Muriel (Loubier) Levesque.Annette graduated from Lawrence High School, class of 1950.Mom worked very hard all her life, first at Greenlaw's Restaurant then the woolen mills in Fairfield. After traveling for almost 20 years as an Army wife, she was finally able to return home.She raised her three children and after they were in high school she went to work for School Administrative District 49 in the lunch program. She loved her job because of the students she met and watched grow up and the friends she worked with.She retired and took on the job of helping her mother until her own health stopped her from doing so.She was a voracious reader, reading sometimes two or three books a day.She also enjoyed knitting and her outings, which included Tuesday ladies lunch, Thursday with Joyce, and Saturdays with her sister-in-law.She will have the guardianship of those who have gone on before her including her mother and father, Muriel and Leon Cloutier; her brother, Leon; and her husband, Cyril "Red" Cloutier; her mother-in-law, Sadie; as well as several aunts and uncles.She will be missed by her daughter, Cathy and her husband, Louis Brouwer; her sons, Thomas Cloutier and his fiancŽe, Sherry Knox, and Daniel Cloutier and his wife, Laurie; her grandchildren, Ashley Cloutier, Brittany Cloutier, Sarah Cloutier and Andy Cloutier; her brothers, John Levesque and Micki, David and Lillian Levesque, Paul and Louise Levesque, Peter and Ginny Levesque, and Jimmy Levesque; her sisters, JoAnn Hopkins and her husband, Nelson "Bud" and Kathy Sandy and her husband, Ray.She will also be loved and remembered by many nieces, nephews, and a great-great-niece and nephew.Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, March 7 at Lawry Brothers Funeral Home, 107 Main St., Fairfield. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, March 8 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, High Street, Fairfield. Spring burial will be at Greenlawn Rest Cemetery in Clinton.Donations may be made in Annette's memory to Mount Saint Joseph Alzheimer's Unit, 7 Highwood St., Waterville, ME 04901Condolences may be expressed at http://www.lawrybrothers.comArrangements are with Lawry brothers Funeral Home, 107 Main St., Fairfield.
