Obituary of Anita Rose

ANITA ROSE January 23, 1939 - April 11, 2014 Following a courageous 16-month battle against cancer, Anita passed away peacefully on April 11, 2014, at the Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto, with her heartbroken husband Derry at her side. She will forever be lovingly remembered by Derry, daughters Bonnie (Don) and Karrie (Brad), grandchildren Alex, Cady, Tom and Isabelle and so many other family members and close friends. Anita had a lifelong passion for bridge and life, and despite her ongoing battle with cancer was able to dance with Derry on their 50th wedding anniversary. Anita will be forever missed by all who knew her and so enriched her life and she theirs. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter "Neweduk - Erin Mills" Chapel, 1981 Dundas St. W., Mississauga (just east of Erin Mills Pkwy.) from 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at 11 o'clock. Interment Springcreek Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted.
