Obituary of Andrew Adams

Andrew J. Adams Dyer Andrew J. Adams, age 78, of Dyer, formerly of East Chicago, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2005. Survived by his wife, Joyce of 50 years; one daughter, Susan (Charles) Adamovic of Orland Park, IL; one uncle, George Wargo of Crown Point; brother-in-law, Robert (Nancy) Rybicki of Fairfield Bay, AR; sister-in-law, Carol (Steve) Kacocha of West Baden, IN; two cousins: Carol Wargo and James (Hope) Wargo; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by mother, Victoria Adams. Funeral services Saturday, April 23, 2005 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Dyer. Mr. Adams will lie in state directly at the church from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at 10:00 a.m. with Fr. Mark Pavlina officiating. Final resting will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, April 22, 2005 from 2-8 p.m. at the Solan-Pruzin Funeral Home (corner of Main and Kennedy), Schererville/Highland. Andrew was the owner and operated Central Photo Service for over 40 years and Universal Custom Frame and Glass, both in East Chicago. He was a member of American Legion Post 369 who will hold service Friday at 7:00 p.m. and a member of the B.P.O. Elks Lodge 981 of Highland, who will also hold services at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Andrew was an avid fisherman who loved spending time with his family enjoying nature.
