Obituary of Aline Gagnon

GAGNON, Aline Aline Gagnon (nee Allard, April 2, 1924). Peacefully in Pembroke Regional Hospital on Sunday, November 29, 2009 at the age of 85. Predeceased by her husband Basil (October 29, 1989), her brothers: Maurice, Henry, Jimmy, J.B., Remi and Edgar, her sisters Lorette and Rita, a grandson Douglas Whaling (May 14, 1987) and a son-in-law Richard Whaling (November 22, 2003). Aline is survived by a brother Merrill. It is with great sadness that her children: Raymond (Debra), Carol Ann (Larry Tackney), Joan (Peter Doran), Michael (Patsy), Stanley (Gail), Hazel, Andy, John, Loretta (Andre Corriveau), Bernard (Diane), Ronnie (Angie), Allen (Tammy), and Susan (Frank Michaud) say a Dieu, goodbye mom. She will also be greatly missed by her precious 35 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Visitation will be at the Ringrose Brothers Funeral Home, Chapeau, Quebec on Wednesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday after 1 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Alphonsus Church, Chapeau, Quebec on Thursday, December 3 at 2:30 p.m. Interment in parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Lung Association would be greatly appreciated.
