Obituary of Aline-C. Martel

WATERFORD Aline C. Martel, 94, of VanSchoohoven Square, Waterford, formerly of Cohoes, at Samaritan Hospital, Friday, January 14, 2005 after a brief illness. Born in Cohoes and was the daughter of the late Joseph C. and Alena Mosseau Savoie. Educated St. Marie's School and was a communicant of Holy Trinity Parish. A machine operator for Model Shirt Factory for over 30 years, retiring in 1971. A member of the Cohoes Senior Citizens and the Cohoes Columbiettes. Wife of the late Leo J. Martel; godmother of Gloria Martel Devine of Waterford; sister of the late Wilfred, Francis, Omer Savoie, Yvonne Girard, Irene Phelps and Edna Galipeau; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral Tuesday 9:00 a.m. from the Dufresne Funeral Home, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes and at 9:30 a.m. from Holy Trinity Parish where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.
