->Allen, Alice TheresaAlice Theresa (Dorney) Allen, devoted wife, mom, grandma and sister, entered eternal life on June 16, 2012. On a beautiful and glorious morning, a golden heart stopped beating and a generous soul was welcomed home. She was born in New York City, NY, to George Dorney and Alice Walsh, and lived in New City, NY, for over 50 years, where she was a devout member of St. Augustine's Church. Prior to retirement, Alice was an esteemed employee in the business office of Clarkstown Central School District. Throughout her well lived life, Alice's greatest joy and source of happiness was her family.Alice was predeceased by her beloved husband, Bill; her parents; brothers, George and Jack; and grandbaby, Colin. Left to cherish her memory are the lights of her life; daughter, Maureen Timberlake and husband David; sons, Bill and wife Denise, Richard and wife Judy; grandchildren, Matthew and wife Lindzi, Billy and wife Nicole, Courtney, Brett, Leann, and a great grand-daughter-to-be. Sisters, Edith and Helen; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends also survive.Strong and sincere in her faith and determined to be the person God wants us to be, Alice will be dearly missed by all who knew her wise, kind and gentile spirit.
