Obituary of Alice Drake

Alice passed away unexpectedly March 20, 2009, at the Bay Nursing Facility in Webster, N.Y. Alice lived for several years beginning in the early 90s at her home in Bluewater Bay, where she made a host of friends. She will be especially remembered for the countless hours of volunteer work she contributed to the First Methodist Church of Niceville. She is survived by her children, Jean, Sally, Kathy, Jim and Roger. Roger currently lives in Florala, Ala., and is employed at the Niceville Post Office. She is also survived by Norman, Adelaide, Jane, Robert and Geoffrey Drake, all of Niceville. Memorial services for Alice will be held at First Baptist Church, Webster, N.Y., on April 18. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in her memory to the Building Fund, First Methodist Church of Niceville.
