Obituary of Albert Toma

Toma, Albert (Ben) ALBANY Albert Toma, age 83, died Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at the Samuel S. Stratton VA Medical Center in Albany. Albert was a graduate of Clarkson University and enjoyed golfing and skiing. Son of the late Angela and John Toma. Husband of Carol Elmendorf-Toma; brother of Jean Toma, Dr. Roberta Toma, Helen (Lloyd) Howel and Karen White. Predeceased by sisters, Julia Miranda and Anne Santucci and brothers, Alfred, Anthony, Carmen, Francis, John Jr., Louis and Michael. Also survived by special in-laws, Michael and Laurie Elmendorf and Jeff and Isabelle Fritze; as well as several nieces and nephews including Ed White and Michael Elmendorf. We love and miss him. He will also be missed by his loving cats. Special thanks to Dr. DBrot, June First R.N. and the ICU staff for their compassionate care. Funeral services will be held in the Marra Funeral Home, 246 Remsen St., Cohoes, 12 o'clock Friday.
