Obituary of Albert Roberts

Albert H. Roberts, 68, died Friday at the Marlborough Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Lowell, he was the son of the late Albert H. and Helen M. (Kiley) Roberts and spent many years living in Marlborough. He was employed for over 20 years as a machinist for the R.L. Machine Co. of Clinton. He was a United States Marine Corp veteran of the Vietnam War. He is survived by a friend of over 50 years, J. Richard McEachern of Chelmsford and was predeceased by a sister, Jeanne Himan. Visitiing hours at the William R. Short and Son Funeral Home, 95 West Main St., Marlborough, MA will be Thursday from 6-8p.m..Burial with full military honors will be Friday at 10:00 a.m. in the Winchendon Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
