Obituary of Albert Middleton

MIDDLETON, Albert (Al) R. November 18, 1923 - August 29, 2013It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of the Albert R. Middleton (Al) of Alberta Beach. He was 89 years old. Al is survived by his children Ruth, Karen, Jack and his 15 grandchildren, seven great- grandchildren, one great-great- grandchild and his special friend, Irene Stephenson. Al is predeceased by his father, Albert John Middleton and mother, Nellie Mona Middleton. His wives, Irene Annie Middleton 1943 - 1998 (54 years) and Mable Sharkey (Middleton) 1999 - 2004. His grandson Izaac A. Middleton, his sister Ruth M. Gentry, his son Barry A Middleton, his son William H. Middleton and his brother William Middleton.Al is a World War ll veteran and was stationed in Burma SQD 436. Al flew in the DC-3. Al has several medals for his years of service. Al worked for over 37 years with (CN) Canadian National Railway and retired April 25, 1979 then Al worked for Inspira.A Memorial Service will be held at Hainstock's Funeral Home & Crematorium at 9810 - 34 Avenue, Edmonton on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be given to a charity of one's choice.
