Obituary of Agnes Cote

Agnes (Cote) LeVasseur, 96, of South Windsor died Friday, (April 22, 2005) at the Salmon Brook Health Center in Glastonbury. She was the widow of Elie LeVasseur. She was born November 26, 1908 in St. Andre New Brunswick, Canada daughter of the late Thomas and Harriet (Rossignol) Cote. She is survived by her daughters, Beatrice Violette of Bangor ME., and Jeanne Phipps of South Windsor; her seven grandchildren, Dan Phipps of Poughkeepsie N.Y., Mary Gebhart of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL., Judy Deleeuw of Chester., Norma Jean Brown of Azusa, CA., Catherine Violette of Dover, N.H., Mark Violette of Knoxville, TN, and Lisa Norsworthy of Bangor, ME. She also leaves 12 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband she was predeceased by a granddaughter, Elaine Phipps; her siblings, Ozime Cote, Fred Cote, Annie Rioux, and Eva Bishop. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, April 26, 10 a.m. in St. Christopher Church, Brewer Street, East Hartford. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Hartford. Friends and relatives are respectfully requested to go directly to the Church.
