Army Sgt. Adam James Ray, 23, born in Tampa, was assigned to the 4th Battalion, 23rd Infantry Regiment, 5th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division. He died on Feb. 9 of injuries after Insurgents attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device.
