Peter McInnes (1758-1861): born about 1758 in Scotland, most likely nearby Askernish, from unknown parents, he marries Sarah McPhee about 1791 at Île-St-Jean (today: Prince Edward Island). They have 11 children. Peter comes to the country at Prince Edward Island in the summer of 1790 on board the ship 'Jane'. About 1797, the family settle in New Brunswick. In 1799, they live in Grand Kouchibouguac. Peter is a farmer. He dies on August 21, 1861.
