Alyre Allain (1913 - 2004) REXTON, NB - Alyre Allain of Rexton, N.B. passed away at Stella Maris Hospital, Ste Anne de Kent on Tuesday, September 14, 2004 at the age of 91. Born in Richiboucto-Village, N.B, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary (Richard) Allain. Retired, he had worked as a truck driver for Dept. of Transportation, N.B. and attended Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Rexton. Alyre is survived by one daughter, Ellen Allain, Moncton; one son, Mark Allain, Belliveau; several nieces and nephews. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He was predeceased by four sisters, Evelyn, Emma, Alice, Maggie; three brothers, Fred, Charlie and Frank. As per Alyre's wishes there will be no visitation. Funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Rexton on Friday, September 17, 2004 at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at the Parish Cemetery. If so desired, donations to the NB Heart & Stroke Association or donor's choice would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements in the care of Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
