Pioneers of the Girard family

Pierre Girard was born in 1641, France. He marries Suzanne Lavoie, widow of Jean Tesson. The contract was signed up on August 11th 1669, in the presence of notary Gilles Rageot. 8 children were born from their union. Widowed, he then marries Élisabeth Lequin, widow of Étienne Léveillé, on April 26th 1688 in Neuville. No child was born from this union. In 1681 he lives at Rivière-des-Roches (St-Augustin) and he owns 1 gun, 5 heads of cattle and 12 acres of land. In 1688, his land value is 1000 pounds and his animals value is 500 pounds. He dies after August 2nd 1713.
