Obituary of Winnifred-Grace Welsh

Winnifred Grace Welsh January 15, 1919 - January 4, 2009 In loving memory of a dear mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend in Little Current on Manitoulin Island in her 90th year. Predeceased by loving husband Freddie on May 13, 1996. Long time residents of Elk Lake. Survived by three sons, Murray (Rolande) of Kagawong, Lloyd (Bobbi) of Chelmsford, and Kenneth (Cindy) of Marathon. Six grandsons, Terry (Jana), Chris, Brad, Brent (Cassandra), Willis and Tyler. Two great-grandchildren Kalysta and Kole. Survived by brother Clinton of Mattawa, and special nieces Susan Fiset and Holly Woollings and many other nieces and nephews, and good friend Marg Butler. Fondly remembered by staff of Manitoulin Centennial Manor as a dignified lady, always well mannered, polite and obliging. Will be sorely missed by all. At Winnie’s request there will be no visitation or service. Cremation with burial service to be announced at a later date.
