WALLACE, William Muir Wallace, William Muir at KGH age 74 after a brief battle with cancer. Predeceased by his parents William Morrison Wallace, Helen Elizabeth Muir, and sister Mary Hedges. Survived by his wife Carley (Cleave) daughters Elizabeth (B uckland), Annleigh and son in law Brett. Loving Popa to Jack and Sam. Fondly and with love remembered by sister Janet and brother in law Jack Lacy, by nieces and nephewsJohn Lacy, Alison Lacy (Joe), Bruce Lacy (Karen), Libby Kerr and Bob Hedges (Ann) . Visitation on Saturday July 2nd, 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at Robert J. Reid & Sons Funeral Home, 309 Johnson St. (at Barrie St.).A ceilidh will be held at a later date to celebrate his love of life. Bill attended Victoria PS, and KCVI then worked in the M erchant Navy for a few years. After working in the logging industry in BC and the advertising industry in Toronto, he returned to Kingston to attend Queen's University. He taught for 30 years in local elementary schools. Since his retirement he has b een active in the Cataraqui Optimists Society, the Heritage Tattoo Society and the board of directors of the Fort Henry Guard Club of Canada. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Fort Henry Restoration Fund, or the Canadian Cancer Society .
