Obituary of William-J. Allain


William J. Allain 1926 - 2006 William Allain, 79, of Dieppe, passed away on Monday, February 20th, 2006 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Antoine and the late Suzanne (née: McDonald) Allain. Mr. Allain, a master plumber, was the founding owner of Wm. J. Allain Plumbing & Heating, a volunteer fireman with Town of Dieppe for 20 years, a member of Mechanical Contractors Assoc. of NB Inc., the Knights of Columbus #1310, the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #6 and a parishioner of Ste-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Eugenie "Jennie" (née: Gauvin); one daughter, Jeannette (Dale) Cameron of Dieppe; three sons, Victor (Alida), Robert (Sharren) and Donald (Janice) all of Dieppe; one brother, Abel (Yvonne) of Dieppe; nine grandchildren, Gary, Kevin, Darlene, Michel, Marc, Mario, Amanda, Mathieu and Mélanie; nine great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters, Marie and Ida and also by two brothers, Eric and Edgar. Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault St., Dieppe, 857-1901, on Wednesday, February 22nd, 2006 from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 pm and also on Thursday from 10 am until time of departure. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Ste-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, on Thursday, February 23rd, 2006 at 11am.
