Obituary of William Hastings

William Hastings February 22, 1927- June 2, 2017 Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on June 2nd, 2017 at the age of 90. Loving husband of Joyce Hastings, devoted father of Debbie, Sandy (Audrey) and Bee (Alfredo). Adoring grandfather to Korry (Scott), Jessica (Tyler), Karleigh (Josh), Romeo, and Katie. Great grandfather to Brayden and Ethan MacLeod and Brayden Stamnes. Predeceased by his grandson Aaron. Survived by his siblings, Ruth, Stan (Betty), Martha (Carl), Jimmy, George (Bonnie). A celebration of life for the man who loved to ski, but loved the après ski even more, will be held on Saturday, June 10th from 1:00-6:00 at his eldest granddaughter''s home in Kanata. The family would like to take this opportunity to express their sincere thanks to Dr.O''Neil, Dr. Spacek, June Wilson, June Fillier, Kathleen, Angie, Johnson, Ashley and Meg. In lieu of flowers, donations to The University of Ottawa Heart Institute Foundation would be appreciated.
