Obituary of William Wallace


WALLACE, WILLIAM (BILL) - of Westfield Rd. Saint John NB. passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday evening June 19th, 2006. Bill was born in Chipman NB. on August 13th, 1938 to the late John and Irene (Bustard) Wallace. Bill is survived by his loving wife Ann (Little), two sons, James (Becky) and Desmond both of Saint John, a brother Douglas of Grand-Bay-Westfield, brother in-laws and sister in-laws, Claudia Simmons, Juanita (Frank) White and Joseph Little, four grandchildren Graham, Colby, Jacob and Alyson, aunts, and uncle Eva, and Katherine (Ronald) Bustard, and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Bill is predeceased by brothers John and Stephen and a sister Margaret Garnette. Bill belonged to the Christian Service Brigade, Friendly Sr. Circle and was a member of the Grand-Bay Baptist Church Board of Trustees since 1977. Arrangements are under the professional care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John NB. (646-2424) with visitations on Wednesday from 7-9 pm and Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held for Bill on Friday June 23rd, 2006 at 10:30am from the Grand-Bay Baptist Church. The interment will be held following the service at Woodman's Point Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Diabetes Foundation or to the charity of the donor's choice.
