Obituary of Wilbert Ambeau


Ambeau Jr., Wilbert A carpenter and a lifelong resident of St. Gabriel, he died Sunday, Nov. 27, 2005, in St. Gabriel. He was 49. Visiting at Mount Bethel Baptist Church, La. 75, Carville, from 9 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Alfred Thomas. Interment in the church cemetery. He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Kinta and Bryan Hayward; two sisters, Audrey Ambeau and Nora Lee Raven; brother, J.C. Richard; two nephews, Dedrick and Marvin Ambeau; niece, Markita Ambeau; and two grandchildren, Bryan and Jamara Hayward. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbert Sr. and Ethel Ambeau; and two daughters. Lawson-Rollins Purple Shield Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
