Obituary of Violet A. Bourcier

Violet A. Bourcier 1920 -2012 LUDLOW - Violet A. (Bourbeau) Bourcier 91 of Wilson St. died Thursday, February 9, in an Auburn nursing home. Born in New Bedford, MA June 5, 1920 daughter of the late Jean-Baptiste and Emalina (LeBeau) Bourbeau. A faithful Communicant of the Catholic Community of St. Elizabeth, she was a member of it's Ladies of Sainte Anne. Violet had worked for many years as a fly tier, and a shipper for the former Stuart's Sportsmen's Center of Indian Orchard. She was also a member of the Ludlow Sr. Center. She was the widow of Lionel E. Bourcier who died September 18, 1988. She is survived by her cherished daughter Claire Simpson of Worcester, MA a sister Teresa Chaisson of CA, Grandsons Matthew and Andrew Simpson, and great-grandson Morgan White. Also survived by extended family members and friends. Funeral Services Celebrating Her Life, will be Wednesday, February 15, with a 10 AM Liturgy of Christian Burial offered by the Catholic Community of St. Elizabeth in St. John The Baptist Church, Msgr. Homer P. Gosselin will preside. Rites of Committal will follow in St. Aloysius Cemetery. It was Violets wish that calling hours be omitted.
