Obituary of Violet Webster

Webster: Violet 1919 - 2003 Violet passed away peacefully November 29, 2003 at the Drumheller Hospital. Violet was born in Niton, AB December 7, 1919. She was raised in Rutland, SK. It was in Rutland that she met her future husband Francis Webster. Over their 50 year marriage they lived in Manitoba, N.W.T. and B.C. Violet lived in Elkford for 28 years before moving to Carbon, AB to be closer to family. She was an avid curler and golfer, decorated many a wedding cake and was even a volunteer firefighter. She was predeceased by her husband Francis, the love of her life. Violet is survived by Bryan (Marilyn) Webster of Fort St. John, B.C.; Blaine (Connie) Webster of Thornhill, ON; Dale (Stella) Webster of Kitimat, B.C.; and Deana (Brent) McLean of Carbon, AB. She also leaves to mourn four brothers, one sister, nine grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. There will be a memorial to celebrate Violet's life December 12, 2003 at the Drumheller Hospital.
