Obituary of Veral-George Rafuse

RAFUSE, Veral George RAFUSE, Veral George - 77, New Ross, died peacefully in Windsor Elms Senior Citizens Home, Windsor, on Tuesday, February 19, 2008. Born in New Ross, he was a son of Haddon and Alma (O'Leary) Rafuse. Veral was a self-employed logger all his working life and called no man his boss. He loved his home and his Doberman dog, "Rudy". Veral is survived by his sisters, Mabel Crossley, New Ross; Frances La Vallee, Berwick; Beatrice Rafuse and Loretta Crawford, both of Chester; brothers, Max (Isabel), Beaver Bank; Robert (Lorraine), Wade (Virginia), all of New Ross; Ernest, Chester; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother, Curtis; sisters, Carmen Canning, Madeline Walker, and infant sister Alma. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday in Davis Funeral Home, Chester, Father Jim McCorriston officiating. Cremation has taken place. A private burial will be held at a later date.
