Obituary of Thomas-Samuel Cairns

CAIRNS, Thomas Samuel (Oct. 23, 1925 - May 16, 2008) - Tom's family sadly announces his peaceful death at home. He is survived by his loving wife Margaret and children, Pam (Larry), Tom, Tim (Lisa), Kim (Dave) and Mary (Lloyd). Grandchildren Kristie (Adam), Leslie, Tiffany, Samantha, Lloyd Jr., Celeste, Natasha and Ian and great grandchild Khloe and soon to arrive Addison. He is survived by his brother James, and sister Louise and many sisters and brothers in law, nieces and nephews. Mr. Cairns was a veteran and a member of Merritton Legion 138. Past Master of Adanac Lodge 614, Past President of the St. Catharines and District Shrine Club and a Shriners Clown. Past Patron of Mountain Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star 66. He retired from Hayes-Dana after 46 years of service. Cremation has taken place. A Legion Service will be held at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 372 Merritt St., on Saturday, May 24 at 1:30 p.m. A celebration of Tom's life will follow at 2 p.m. A reception will follow at the Merriton Legion.
