Obituary of Theresa M. Allain

Theresa M. Allain lifelong Fitchburg resident; 82 Fitchburg Theresa M. (Melanson) Allain, 82, died Monday, December 15, 2008 at the Highlands, Fitchburg. Mrs. Allain was born in Fitchburg, July 1, 1926, a daughter of Alfred and Mary (Mitchell) Melanson and was a lifelong Fitchburg resident. She is survived by her granddaughter; Jacqueline Racine of Fitchburg and her son in law; Bruce Racine of New Ipswich, NH. She also leaves several nieces and nephews. She was the wife of the late Alphonse L. Allain who did in 2004, the mother of Karen M. Racine who passed away in 1995 and the sister of the late Francis Melanson and Alice Robichaud. Mrs. Allain had worked at Simonds Saw & Steel and also in a Fitchburg Yarn Mill. She attended St. Joseph's Church in Fitchburg. ALLAIN A prayer service will be offered 1pm Friday, December 19th at the Pieta Chapel of St. Joseph's Cemetery, 486 Clarendon St, Fitchburg. There are no calling hours. Mrs. Allain's family would like to extend their grateful thanks to the Staff of the Highlands Nursing Home, Fitchburg for the wonderful care she received in her stay there. The Louis M.
