Obituary of Ruth-Mary Waldron


TAYLOR, Ruth Mary Suddenly at her home on Friday, June 20, 2008. Ruth Mary Taylor (nee Waldron) of Alexandria, ON, formerly of Lachine / Dorval, QC; age 84 years. Beloved wife of the late Harold Wesley Taylor. Loving mother of Rod (Lynn McCune) of Yellowknife, NWT, Pam Hellstrom (late John) of Alexandria, ON, Bill (late Valerie Boddy) of Ottawa, ON and Gregg of Vancouver, BC. Proud grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Dear sister of the late Richard (late Henny), the late Norman (Edel and the late Jean), Verna Milley (late George) and Bill (Moyra). Ruth was a volunteer and a proud member of U.C.W., W.M.S. and was a former Church Elder in the Presbyterian Church. She will be sadly missed by her family, friends and neighbours. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. Alexandria (613) 525-2772 on Wednesday, June 25, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm and on Thursday from 11:30 am-12:30 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at Alexandria United Church (Church on the Hill), Kincardine St. E., Alexandria on Thursday, June 26, 2008 at 1 pm. Cremation will follow. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Ruth a tree will be planted in Memory Woods.
