Roy James Adams passed away at the Sudbury Regional Hospital-Laurentian Site at the age of 81 on January 23, 2007. He was born May 22, 1925 at Oak River, Manitoba to Howard Leroy Adams and Jean Elizabeth Baragar. He served with the Royal Canadian Navy during World War II and was a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 54 and a member of the Masonic Lodge # 617. Roy worked as an Electrical Inspector for Ontario Hydro in New Liskeard until his retirement in 1990. He was predeceased by his parents, one brother and four sisters. He is survived by his loving wife Alice (nee Graybeal) whom he married June 24, 1972 in North Bay. Also left to mourn is his son, four daughters, three grandchildren, one brother and one sister. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society will be gratefully acknowledged.
