Né à Saint-Joseph de Bouctouche, il était fils de feu Pius et de feu Lina (née Duguay) Allain. Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse, Emerise (née Léger) de Bouctouche; quatre filles: Carmella (Emile) Gaudet de Scoudouc, Jeanne (Pierre Martel) de Montréal, Annette (Linda Greenhorn) et Jeannette (Allan) Daggett, toutes deux de Toronto; deux fils: Fabien (Christiane) de Notre-Dame et Rheal (Lise Melanson) de Boucherville; trois soeurs: Lillianne (Ronald) LeBel d’Edmundston, Ella (Felix) Belle Isle et Bertha (Eddy) Mills, toutes deux de Bouctouche; trois frères: Bernard (Stella) de Saint-Antoine, Genereux (Eva) et Oscar (Bernice), tous deux de Bouctouche; neuf petits-enfants: Fabien, Julien, Luc, Jessie, Chantale, Alexandre-Olivier, Isabelle, Jacob et Natan, ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces. M. Allain aimait la chasse et la pêche. Avant sa retraite, il a été charpentier sur la construction de ponts. Il n’y aura pas de visites au salon funéraire. Les funérailles auront lieu en l’église Saint-Jean-Baptiste de Bouctouche, le lundi 14 mars, à 16h. L’inhumation se fera au cimetière paroissial. Un don aux amis de l’Hôpital de Moncton, à la Fondation de l’Hôpital régional Dr-Georges-L.-Dumont ou à la Société canadienne du cancer, au lieu de fleurs, serait apprécié. Mr. Allain enjoyed hunting and fishing, he had retired as a carpenter having worked on bridge construction and was a parishioner of St-Jean-Baptiste Roman Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Emerise (née: Leger) of Bouctouche; four daughters, Carmella (Emile) Gaudet of Scoudouc, Jeanne (Pierre Martel) of Montreal, Annette (Linda Greenhorn) and Jeannette (Allan) Daggett, both of Toronto; two sons, Fabien (Christiane) of Notre-Dame and Rheal (Lise Melanson) of Boucherville; three sisters, Lillianne (Ronald) LeBel of Edmundston, Ella (Felix) Belle Isle and Bertha (Eddy) Mills both of Bouctouche; three brothers, Bernard (Stella) of St. Antoine, Genereux (Eva) and Oscar (Bernice) both of Bouctouche; nine grandchildren, Fabien, Julien, Luc, Jessie, Chantale, Alexandre-Olivier, Isabelle, Jacob and Natan; as well as several nieces and nephews. By request, no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated from St-Jean-Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche, NB, on Monday, March 14, 2005 at 4 pm. Interment in Parish Cemetery, Bouctouche, NB. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital, Dr. Georges-L.
