CLEARY, Roderick Charles - The family announces with sorrow his death Thursday, December 27th, 2007 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital (St-Joseph Health Centre) at the age of 65 years. Dear friend of Nichol Galipeau. Son of the late Rodolphe Henry Cleary and of the late Leona Norma Cleary (nee Hayes). Loving father of Natasha Cleary (Andrew McCallum) of Scarborough, Tanya Cleary (Yan Dubois) of Beloeil, Quebec, Wayne Rantala (Deborah) of Ottawa, Michael Rantala (Jennifer) of Lively and Jodi Denis (David) of Michigan, USA. Dear brother of Dolores Bontinen (Wayne predeceased) of Sudbury, Norma St-Denis (Raymond Montpellier) of Elliot Lake, Lynda Todoruk (Barry) of Olds, Alberta, Dennis Cleary (Lynn) of Blezard Valley and Brenda Bowerman (Gord) of Calgary, Alberta. Cherished grandfather of 7 grandchildren. Rod was a great fan of Nascar and loved ice fishing with his buddies. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Rod was a devoted son, father, brother and grandfather. The family will receive relatives and friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd. E. (at Notre-Dame), Sudbury, Sunday, December 30th, from 1-2 p.m. A Memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel, Sudbury.
