Obituary of Rheal St-Amour

ST AMOUR, Rhéal - Passed away in Sudbury, after a long illness, Thursday, August 13, 2009 at the age of 89 years. Son of the late Octave and of the late Maria (Poitras) St Amour. Husband of the late Rita St Amour (née Legroulx) predeceased in 1995. Loving father of Richard St Amour, Rosanne Landers (Wayne) and Robert St Amour all of Sudbury and Raymond St Amour (Natalie) of Barrie. Sadly missed by his grandson Jonathan. Dear brother of Denise Pichette (Anastase). Predeceased by his brothers and sisters, Hervé St Amour, Aurore Lapointe (late Emile), Aurèle St Amour (Annette), Agathe Derry (late Louis), Maurice Gagnon (late Yvette), Lucienne Martin (late Lucien), Collette Legault (late Armand), Lucien Gagnon and Thérèse “Terry” Curley (Robert). Rhéal, having been a veteran of the Second World War, was a retired Inco foreman after 31 years of service. He will be remembered for having been a good provider for his family and enjoyed working on old cars. The family will receive relatives and friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd. E. (at Notre-Dame), Sudbury, Monday from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel, Sudbury. Donations (by cheque only) to the Alzheimer Society or the Northern Cancer Research Foundation would be appreciated
