Obituary of Raymond-Marcel-Joseph Tessier


TESSIER, Raymond Marcel Joseph - June 13, 1942 - March 5, 2009. It is with great sadness that the Tessier family announces the passing of Ray on Thursday March 5th, 2009, at home surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Norma (Lauzon) for 48 years. Loving father of Carol Grover (Mike), Denise Cuprik, Joanne Brenyo (John), Ray Jr., and Gale O'Hearon (Ray). A very proud Papa of Jessica, Darryl, Brent, Mark, Lindsay, Brandon, Jacob, Shannon and Aidan whom he loved dearly. Dear brother of Maurice (Jo-Ann), Sylvia Hamilton (Eddie), Darlene and the late Roger Tessier. Ray also leaves to mourn many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, and many many friends. Ray's career as a truck driver led him to see many places and travel different highways. His greatest passion in life was his music. He was very proud of his famous Ray and the Buckaroo Band that entertained around Hamilton & Niagara Area for 40 years. He had a loyal following of which he appreciated and thought a lot of. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Ave. Drive on Sunday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Rosary Sunday at 8:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Incarnation of Our Blessed Lord Parish, Nash Road North and Barton Street on Monday March 9th at 9 a.m. Cremation to follow.
