Obituary of Pauline M. Dick


of Fitchburg, St. Joseph Church member; 82 FITCHBURG -- Pauline M. (Provencal) Dick, 82, died Friday, June 3rd, in The Highlands of Fitchburg.Mrs. Dick was born May 12, 1929 in Fitchburg daughter of John and Bernadette (Beland) Provincal, and had been a lifelong resident of Fitchburg.She was a member of St. Joseph Church, the Ladies of St. Anne, the American Legion, and the D.A.V. Before retiring several years ago she had worked for Anwelt Shoe Co., for over 35 years. Her favorite vacation spot was Old Orchard Beach. Her greatest joy and love was spending time with her grandchildren.Her husband, Joseph Dick died in 1989. She leaves her daughter, Janet White and her husband, Mark of Leominster, two sons, David Dick and his partner, Rayola of Sanford, Maine, and John Dick of Fitchburg; three grandchildren; Michael Dick and his wife, Christina of Jacksonville, FL, Jessica Tolf and her husband, Shawn of Lancaster, MA, and Tim LaFleur of New York City; two great-grandchildren, Michael Dick and Jonathan Tolf; a brother, Wilfred Provencal and his wife, Annette; nieces, nephews, and neighborhood friends.She was predeceased by two brothers, Gerald and his wife, Pearl, and Arthur Provencal.DICK -- A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 7th at 11:00 am in St. Joseph Church, 49 Woodland St., Fitchburg. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. A calling hour will be held Tuesday morning from 9:30 until 10:30 am in the Aubuchon-Moorcroft Funeral Home, 132 Woodland St., Fitchburg.
