Obituary of Paul-Joseph Tessier

TESSIER, Paul Joseph - Peacefully with his loving family by his side at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Thursday, June 18, 2009, in his 80th year. Beloved father of Michelle Tessier of St. Catharines, Joe Tessier of Kingston, daughter in law Angela Tessier and his three grandchildren, Katharine and David of Kingston and Maria (Keenan) Papps of London. Also survived by his sisters Yvette (Ted) McKenna and Jacqueline Cornelius of St. Catharines, brother Roger (Marg) Tessier of Peterborough and brother in law Michael (Lois) DiMercurio of St. Catharines. Also fondly remembered by Mary Tessier of St. Catharines. He is survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and one great great nephew as well as by many special friends. Paul was predeceased by his parents Louis Tessier (1959), Amanda Allard (1987), his brother in law, John (Jack) Cornelius (1975) and his nephew David Cornelius (1976). At Paul's request cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at the Cathedral of St. Catherine, 67 Church St., St. Catharines on Saturday, June 27th at 10:30 am with visitation to precede the service beginning at 9:30 am.
