Obituary of Omer-Joseph Bellaire

BELLAIRE, Omer Joseph In loving memory of Omer Joseph Bellaire, 63 years of Wahnapitae, who passed away Tuesday, March 9th, 2004 at his residence. He was born in Bonfield and married Juliette (Savard) in 1965 in Wahnapitae. A long time and well liked Wahnapitae resident Omer had worked in the safety administration department at the Copper Cliff Smelter. He had 33 years at INCO retiring in 1997. Omer enjoyed the outdoors where he often fished and snowmobiled. He was an avid gardener who enjoyed his yard work. An accomplished musician he played the guitar since childhood. Omer will be remembered for his great sense of humour and his loving devotion to his children and grandchildren. Beloved husband of Juliette (Savard) Bellaire of Sudbury. Loving father of Peter (wife Natasha) of Wahnapitae, Pamela (husband Terry Williamson) and Donald both of Sudbury. Cherished grandfather of Jared Bellaire, Alysa Williamson, Graham Taggart and James Williamson. Dear son of Eva (Levesque) Bellaire of Sudbury and Isidore Bellaire predeceased 1994. Dear brother of Gerry Bellaire, Lucy Tessier (husband Bob) and Normand Bellaire (wife Jeannie) all of Sudbury, Pierrette Harvey (husband Doug) and Suzanne Prevost (husband Brian) both of Toronto and the late Lise Bellaire and Jackie Bellaire both predeceased. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews and also missed by special friend to the family Tom Biggs of Sudbury. Resting at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury. Funeral Prayers in the R. J. Barnard Chapel, Saturday, March 13th, 2004 at 11:30 am. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium.
