Obituary of Mildred-Jean Raymond

DOONE, Mildred - Surrounded by the love of her family. We are heartbroken to announce the passing of our Mom and Granny, Mildred Jean Raymond Doone on Thursday, April 19, 2007 in her 87th year at the Oshawa Lakeridge Hospital. Mildred, with a heart of gold and a love of laughter, was born to Jennie and Orbin Raymond of Grand Manan Island, N.B. on May 30, 1920 and made her home in Ontario starting in Toronto, Frankford, Stratford and finally in Whitby. She joins her beloved husband Allan (1984). Forever held in the hearts of her children Debi (John), Jim (Diane) and Lorna; her adoring grandchildren Ashlea, Melissa, Dallas, Darcy, Amanda and Charity, great granddaughter Lily and dear friend Carolyn (Pic) Mayhew and faithful companion (dog) Oliver. Survived by sister Lilia Babineau of New Brunswick. Predeceased by brothers Gerald, Beverley and Doug and sisters Rita and Luella. The family would like to sincerely thank, as would mom, Doctors Helson, Oravec and Derrick, nurses Elly, Cheryl and Holly and the special angels who work on 6F, L.R.H. Oshawa Lisa, Bob and Theresa. Resting at the FRANKFORD FUNERAL CHAPEL, 40 North Trent Street, Frankford. Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, April 23, 2007 at 1 p.m. with visitation prior to service. Reverend Maurice McLeod officiating. Interment Stockdale Cemetery.
