Michael F. Rafuse CHARLOTTETOWN, PEI - Michael F. Rafuse, 54, of Maypoint Road, Charlottetown and formerly of Moncton, New Brunswick and Windsor, Nova Scotia, passed away suddenly at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown on Saturday, May 21, 2005. Born in Windsor, Nova Scotia he was the son of the late Manning and Blanche (Keay) Rafuse. He worked as a credit manager in the banking profession for a number of years. A member of Duplicate Bridge Clubs in both Summerside and Charlottetown obtaining his life's masters in less than three years. Michael will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by his brother, Mark Rafuse (Kim MacKay) of New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, his special companion, Irene Shankel; stepsons, John and Scott Morton; niece, Jessica Singer; grandnephew, Austin Singer and many friends. He was also predeceased by his sister, Kimberley Singer. Resting at The Hennessey Funeral Home, 35 Longworth Avenue, Charlottetown, (902-894-4321) with visiting hours at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 24, 2005 from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. then transferred on Wednesday, May 25, 2005 to St. Pius X Church, Charlottetown for Funeral Mass at 10 a.m., Father Gerard Chaisson officiating. Interment of his cremated remains will follow on Thursday afternoon, May 26, 2005 at 3 p.m. in the family plot at Maplewood Cemetery, Windsor, Nova Scotia.
