Obituary of Mary McKinlay

McGOWAN, Mary McKinlay (Molly) juillet 4, 1933 - septembre 12, 2012 It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Molly, of Terrasse- Vaudreuil, on September 12th after a 2-year battle with cancer. She leaves to mourn, Jim, her darling husband of 54 years, her son Cameron, and her three wonderful grandchildren, Tristan, Lucas, and Alec. She also leaves 2 sisters in Canada, Evelyn and Jessie, a brother in Scotland, Jim (Jean) and numerous in-laws, nieces & nephews throughout Canada, the US, the UK, Australia, and Malaysia. Molly loved to sing, dance, bowl, play darts, golf, and talk to babies in stores, but, above all, she loved her family, and being Scottish! The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to all the staff at the Montreal General Hospital Oncology Unit and at the West Island Palliative Care Centre, and especially to Jennifer of the CLSC for their outstanding care and compassion during her difficult battle. A memorial service will be held at Collins, Clark Funeral Home at highway 20 and Cartier Ave in Pointe Claire on Friday, September 21st at 11:00, with prior visitation from 10-11. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation in her name to the West Island Palliative Care Centre or the charity of your choice.
