Obituary of Mary-Gertrude Noonan

BETHUNE, Mary Gertrude (Gertie) (nee Noonan). Passed away peacefully at the Anna Laberge Hospital on Friday, May 26, 2000 in her seventy-fifth year. Beloved wife of the late Robert (Bob) Bethune. Daughter of the late Patrick Noonan and Mary Elizabeth (Maizie) Lynch. Predeceased by her sisters and brothers Phoebe, James, Mary (late George Millar), Patrick, Donald, Eileen and Ellen. She is survived by her sisters-in-law Frances McCaffrey Noonan, Irene Mullins Noonan, many nieces, nephews and friends, including her life long friend Bruce Lang whose kindness to her will not be forgotten. Special thanks to the nurses and staff of Anna Laberge Hospital. Resting at Dallaire Wilson Funeral Home, 123 Maple, Chateauguay, Quebec. Visitation on Saturday, May 27, from 7 to 9 p.m., Sunday, May 28, from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 295 McLeod St., Monday, May 29 at 10 a.m.
