Obituary of Mary-A. Shaver

JUBY, Mary A. Crescent Chapter #75; Eastern Star Surrounded by family on Tuesday, April 22, 2008 in her 92nd year. She was the beloved wife of the late Bruce Juby. Dear mother of Heather Davis (Bane Lovat-Fraser) and Jordan Juby (Andree Nadeau). Proud grandmother of Kenneth (Anja) and Geoff (Julie) Davis and Jonathan, Jessica (Jonathan Wingate), Benjamin and Emma Juby. Great-grandmother of six-year-old twins, Zoey and Zachary Davis. She is survived by her dear brother Charles Shaver of Ottawa. Mary took an active role in the life of her church, McLeod-Stewarton United. Mary started her career at the old Montreal Star during the Second World War and returned to the workforce as a librarian in the Federal Government after raising her children. Friends are invited to visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street, on Friday, April 25th, 2008 from 1 p.m. until the service to celebrate her life at 2 p.m. To honour Mary's wonderful spirit and favourite colour, women are requested to wear something PINK!!!! to the service. Private cremation. Interment will be at Castleford Union Cemetery at a later date. The family would like to thank the staff at Garden Terrace who treated Mary with respect and dignity. We would also like to thank the staff at Queensway-Carleton Hospital for their kind and considerate care.If desired, memorial donations to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute or the Salvation Army would be appreciated.
