STANG, Mary Elizabeth "Betty" (Member of Ladies Auxiliary, Br 240, Royal Canadian Legion) In hospital at Almonte with her family by her side on Tuesday September 13, 2005. Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Galvin of Almonte, age 79 years. Beloved wife of the late Lorne Stang and by first marriage of the late Donald Blakeley. Much loved mother of Michael (Christine) Blakeley of Nepean. Dear sister of Jim Galvin (Claire) of Almonte, Mike (Carlie) of Espanola, Margaret O'Connell of Almonte, Theresa Mondoux (Gaetan) of Montreal and Maureen Bartholomew of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Predeceased by her sister Cecilia Grace. Cherished grandma of Andrea and Andrew. Friends may call at the: C.R. GAMBLE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 127 Church Street, Almonte on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM and where a complete Service including committal will be held in the Chapel on Friday at 11 AM, Rev. Fr. Pierre Champoux officiating. Cremation to follow. Interment of cremated Holy Name of Mary Cemetery, Almonte.
