Obituary of Marilyn Findlay

PEACOCK, Marilyn nee Findlay Born on June 20, 1944 in Ottawa, died peacefully in her 64th year at the Queensway Carleton Hospital on Monday, April 21, 2008. Loving wife of Bill Peacock. Dearest sister of Donald (Elaine) of Ottawa, Eldon (Kathy) of Embrun, Shirley Bishop (Peter) of Stittsville, Beverley Csontos of Prince George B.C., Brian of Anchorage AL, and Karen Burns (Wally) of Navan. Predeceased by her parents Percy Findlay and Madeline Eastman. Aunt Mar will be lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews, as well as grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Cousin of Pat & Gray Thomson of Orillia, Bill & Lynn Johnstone, and Wayne & Dorothy Johnstone, all of Moose Jaw. Special thank you to the 4th Floor Palliative Care Team as well as the Emergency Department of the Queensway Carleton Hospital for their care and compassion. Friends and family are invited to visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street on Wednesday, April 23, 2008 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 24, 2008.
