Obituary of Margaret-Elizabeth Waugh


ATKINSON, Margaret Elizabeth (Betty) - Suddenly at the Grey Bruce Health Services in Southampton Monday afternoon August 25, 2008. The former Betty Waugh of R.R.#1, Hepworth in her 85th year. Beloved wife of Burton Atkinson. Loved mother of Nancy Ferris of R.R.#1, Hepworth, Anne Kurmey and her husband Wayne of Tottenham and John of London. Lovingly remembered by her eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Marion Stirling of Stratford and Don Waugh and his wife Nancy of Barrie. Dear sister-in- law of Marie Waugh, Enid Waugh both of Sault Ste. Marie, Les Allen of Owen Sound, Jean Shipley and Carol Cairns both of Wiarton. Also survived by her son-in-law Gordon Ferris and daughter-in-law Debbie Atkinson. Predeceased by a son Ted and two brothers Wilfred and John. Friends may call at the ZION AMABEL UNITED CHURCH Sauble Beach Thursday afternoon from 2 to 4 pm. Funeral Service will be conducted from ZION AMABEL UNITED CHURCH Sauble Beach Friday morning at 11:00 am with Rev. Gerry Hofstetter officiating. Interment Boyd Cemetery, Shallow Lake. Memorial contributions to the Lupus Society or Zion Amabel United Church would be appreciated as your expression of sympathy.
