Obituary of Madeline-Elizabeth Rafuse

WESTOLL, Madeline Elizabeth (nee: Rafuse) - died peacefully Saturday January 24, 2009 in Hamilton, ON at 80 years of age. A proud Nova Scotian, Madeline was born in Nictaux, NS. She was the eldest daughter of the late Everett Rafuse and Carrie Wheelock. She is predeceased by her brothers: Tremaine, David, Douglas, Paul and Vernon and her sister Margaret. She is survived by her devoted brother Bob Rafuse (Anna). Beloved wife of 47 years of the late Lloyd Franklin George Westoll. Cherished mother of Carolyn Westoll- Goldstein (Mel), Hamilton, ON; Gary Westoll (Joan), Truro, NS; Barbara Baker (Jim), Brampton, ON; Doreen Rafuse Westall (Glenn), Consecon, ON; Gordon Westall (Sally), Saudi Arabia; Marion Westoll, Ottawa, ON. Loving grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Madeline gave her life to service her family, and her professional nursing career. After training at the Grace Maternity Hospital, Halifax in 1949 she nursed in Middleton, Boston, North York and St. Catharines. Arrangements have been entrusted to the WEAVER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME - West Chapel, 170 Dundas St. W, Trenton, Ontario. Friends are invited to a graveside service on Wednesday January 28, 2009 at 1:00pm at Mount Evergreen Cemetery, Stockdale Rd, Trenton.
