Obituary of Luigi DI-Nobile

Di NOBILE, Luigi - Peacefully passed away with his last wish fulfilled, surrounded by his family at his home on October 10, 2009 in his 83rd year. Beloved husband to his wife Lucy for 54 years. Loving father of Carmela Friday (Stephen) & Joanne Hall (David). Loving and proud grandpa to Robert, Andrea & Michael Friday, and Jennifer & John Hall. Dear brother of Renato (Flora), and John (Helen). He will be missed and remembered by his nieces & nephews. Predeceased by his parents Carmela & Carmine, and by his sisters Antonina Domenici, Lina Di Sano, Stella Granchelli & Maria Colantonio. Luigi was born in Villa Santa Lucia degli Abruzzi, Italy and came to Canada in 1949. He was employed by INCO for 35 years. Luigi's family will receive friends at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 179 Clarence Street, Port Colborne on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers will be held on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday October 14, 2009 at St. Therese of Lisieux R.C. Church at 10:30 a.m. with Father Bill Derousie officiating. Rite of Committal with interment will follow at Mt. St. Joseph Cemetery.
