Obituary of Leslie Staniforth

STANIFORTH, Leslie. Peacefully in Ste. Agathe, Quebec on Thursday, April 17, 2008 at the age of eighty-three after a courageous battle with cancer. He leaves to mourn his devoted wife Muriel Campbell. Loving father of Linda (Alain) and Donald (Lina). Cherished grandfather of Glen (Sarah), Ian, Melissa (Seann), Patricia (Eric), Sean and great-grandfather of Cordelia, Inara, Miranda and Olivia. He also leaves to mourn his sisters Florence Duncan, Beatrice Stevens, Joyce (Nelson Lalonde), nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his daughter Carol, his sister Gladys Ablett and his brothers Lloyd and Leonard. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the Grace Anglican Church, Arundel, Que. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the J.P. MacKimmie Funeral Home, 660 rue Principale, Lachute, Que.
