BRENNAN, Lawrence J. (Larry). Born April 18, 1920, eldest son of the late Lawrence Brennan and Agenst Demers. Died peacefully at home on December 5, 1999. His wife Muriel will miss him greatly. He leaves to mourn his daughter Joan Welch of Kendal, Ontario, his grandchildren Steven and Laurie of Ontario and Richard of California, his sisters, Mary (Jack Molloy) of Sprucegrove Alberta and Thressa (Martin Leutchof) of Pierrefonds, his brothers Gerald (Sandra Cross) of St-Laurent and Odoric (Pat Poliquin) of Laval and his brother-in-law Donald Hoeg (Vera Ross) of Charlottetown, PEI as well as several nieces and one nephew. Visitation half an hour before the funeral Mass in the presence of ashes at Parish of St. Athanasius, 3067 Wellington St. Verdun on Thursday, December 9 at 10 a.m. Funeral arrangements in accordance with Larry's wishes. A special thank you to Rev. and Mrs. Slattery, Louise and Violine from the CLSC-NDG, Leon, Palliative Home Care Service, VON, friends and neighbors. Ashes will be buried at a later date in Nova Scotia. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Palliative Home Care Unit - St. Mary's Hospital, attention: Dr. Peter Blusanovics, 3830 Lacombe Avenue, Montreal, H3T 1M5. Arrangements entrusted to Kane & Fetterly.
