Obituary of Keith-T. Rafuse


RAFUSE, Keith T. The family announces with sorrow, his death at the Sudbury Regional Hospital (Laurentian Site), Monday, May 9th, 2005, with his devoted granddaughter Barbara Oost and her husband Remi Morelli by his side. Loving husband of the late Helen (Fairfield) Rafuse of Coniston. Beloved son of the late O. Norman and Bessie (Jones) Rafuse of Nova Scotia. Dear stepfather of Carmen Oost (husband Bob Gervais) of Coniston, Pauline Giroux and Jean Marie Hotte both of Ottawa. Father of Garth, Norman, Sheila and Nancy. Proud great papa to Timothy Vince of Etobicoke. He will be sadly missed by his 12 grandchildren who loved him dearly. Loving brother of Audrey Rafuse, Violet (Rafuse) Blair (husband Alvin) and his late brothers Clifford, Douglas and Wesley. Keith worked at Inco for many years until his retirement and was a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 76. He enjoyed playing cards, darts and loved working on his puzzle books. He had an excellent sense of humor and a generous heart. He spent the last 2 years at the Hillside Park Retirement Residence, formally known as the Chalet Champlain Lodge and the family wish to thank the staff for all their care and devotion to make his last years as comfortable as possible. Keith touched the hearts of everyone and he will be greatly missed. At Keith's request, there will be no visitation or funeral services. Memorial contributions can be made to the Legion Poppy Fund.
