Obituary of Judith M. Tessier

Judith M. (Duffin) Tessier, aged 69 years, of Punta Gorda, FL, formerly of Onset and Brockton, passed away February 16, 2010, in FL. She was the beloved wife of Joseph Tessier of FL. Born in Boston, December 24, 1940, she was a daughter of the late John and Blanche (Folan) Duffin. Judith enjoyed spending her summers in Sippiwissett, and was an avid reader. She was an avid New England sports fan, enjoyed cooking for a crowd, sailing, and giving 110% to any organization or group that she belonged too. She always added a little sparkle to any task. Her time spent with family and friends, were her greatest joy. Judith will be greatly missed by her husband of 49 years, four sons; Joseph Tessier Jr. of Plymouth, Matthew Tessier of Odenten, MD, Daniel Tessier of Ipswich, Jeffrey Tessier of Boston, one daughter; Sandra Mealey of Middleboro, seven grandchildren; brothers Jack and Paul Duffin, sister; Barbara Howard, many nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive friends and relatives on Sunday, March 14th at the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak St. Middleboro, from 11a.m.-1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to your local area food bank, would be greatly appreciated.
