Obituary of Judith E. Tessier


Judith E. "Judy" (Ingham) Tessier, 73, formerly of Framingham, died Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010 at Marlborough Hospital after an illness. She leaves her husband of 53 years, Robert L. Tessier, and two daughters, Susan G. Gilpatrick and her husband, David, of Framingham and Linda A. Gilpatrick and her husband, Gary, of Hopkinton; a brother, Edward R. Ingham of Woburn; and five grandchildren: Rob Gilpatrick, Jason Gilpatrick, Jeff Gilpatrick, Ashley Gilpatrick and Sean Gilpatrick. She was born in Arlington, daughter of the late Edward and Marjorie (Wilson) Ingham, and has lived in Hudson for the past seven years. She was a 1954 graduate of Lexington High School. She was an executive secretary for over 16 years for the Digital Equipment Corporation of Maynard and Marlborough, retiring in 1990. She was a past assistant Girl Scout leader for over 10 years in Framingham. She enjoyed vacationing with her family in York, Maine. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. in the John P. Rowe Funeral Home Inc., 57 Main St., Marlborough on Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010. Burial will follow in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson. Calling hours at the funeral home are Wednesday, 4-7 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Leukemia Program in care of Dr. Karen Ballen, Mass General Hospital, CERO-Emerson PLACE Suite 118, Boston, MA 02114.
